Course Overview

The NICEIC LPG Changeover course is designed to enable engineers to convert their natural gas qualifications to LPG, allowing them to work on LPG systems in various settings such as permanent dwellings, residential park homes, leisure accommodation vehicles, and boats. The course ensures compliance with industry standards and prepares participants for Gas Safe registration.

Who Should Attend

This course is suitable for:

  1. Category 1: Experienced practicing gas fitting operatives.
  2. Category 2: Applicants with relevant mechanical engineering or fitting qualifications/experience.
  3. Category 3: New entrants without relevant qualifications/experience.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.

Pre Requisites

To enrol, participants must:

  • Hold existing ACS qualifications (expired or expiring).
  • Be eligible for the ACS Scheme.

On expiry of certificate, candidates are eligible to take reassessment. Previous certificates must be presented as evidence.

The course includes both practical and theoretical assessments to evaluate the participant’s understanding and skills.
